Buzz Goertzen Memorial Service – June 1, 2025
On June 1, 2025, family, friends, and fans gathered at Gateway Church in Lewiston, Idaho,
to celebrate the life of Robert "Buzz" Goertzen — The Idaho Yodeler.
The afternoon was filled with stories, music, laughter, and tears. Those who knew Buzz
shared memories of his humor, his heart, and his unmistakable voice. The service was
followed by a potluck dinner where the fellowship continued.
For those who couldn't attend in person, the service was live-streamed on Facebook.

Robert "Buzz" Goertzen — husband, father, entertainer, and world-class yodeler —
passed away on February 22, 2025. While he is deeply missed, his music lives on.
The family has decided to keep this website active to preserve Buzz's legacy and
make his music available for generations to come. In the coming weeks, we will be:
- Releasing his music on major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music)
- Making MP3 downloads available for purchase
- Republishing his book
- Adding photos, videos, and memories to the site
The family thanks you for your love and support of Buzz and his music for so many years.
